Become a Tutor!
To ensure that the Active Club Pack has significant impact on clubs and youth organisations in out of school care settings and is being used effectively, it is disseminated through training.
Regional Tutor training days are held for those whose job remit includes the promotion or support of physical activity for children and young people within the community and for School Sport Partnership staff wishing to develop physical activity at lunchtimes and in out of school hours.
After attending a Tutor training day, each Tutor sets up and facilitates a local Active Club workshop.
The following list shows examples of the range of people who have attended a Tutor training day and delivered a workshop:
- Sports Development Officers
- School Sport Partnership Staff (PDM, SSCO)
- Extended School Officers
- Play Organisation Training Officers
- Physical Activity Coordinators
- Health Promotion Officers
- Local Authority Quality Assurance Officers
